A large national pizza chain just launched a new multi-media Spanish language advertising campaign. Focus groups and social media feedback were part of the strategic planning process.
A family meal package at a fixed price was a key insight used to create a new product offering.
According to the latest Scarborough data in the nation’s 77 largest DMAs 29% of Hispanic adults ate at a pizza restaurant in the past 30 days compared to 34% of non-Hispanic adults.
Other types of restaurants that Hispanic adults have eaten at in the past 30 days include:
Chinese – 46%
Mexican – 42%
Italian – 16%
Seafood – 14%
Steakhouse – 14%
89% of Hispanic adults ate at a fast food restaurant in the past 30 days compared to 88% of non-Hispanic adults. And 76% of Hispanic adults ate at a sit-down restaurant in the past 30 days compared to 82% of non-Hispanic adults.
Variety is the spice of life.
Bon appetit or I should really say buen provecho.
